- 325 N. State of Franklin, Johnson City, TN, 37604
Dr. Deepika Nallala pursued endocrinology after seeing many of her family members struggling with managing diabetes. She is passionate about helping those who struggle with thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, gonadal and bone disorders achieve a better quality of life. In addition to 10 years' experience as an endocrinologist, she also has more than three years’ experience with obstetrics and gynecology. This helps her to better understand women’s hormonal conditions and to better treat conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Dr. Nallala sees her role as that of a servant-leader, guiding patients but also encouraging them to take charge of their health by taking their medications and monitoring their condition.
In addition to her heart for improving patients’ lives, Dr. Nallala enjoys teaching medical students and residents through ETSU’s Quillen College of Medicine. She feels that teaching is the best way of learning. Dr. Nallala also enjoys continuing medical education and opportunities to discover the best new treatment options for her patients.
