Alina Bhat, MD, Assistant Professor, completed her fellowship in Oncology and Hematology at the Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, N.Y. where she also completed her residency in Internal Medicine. She earned medical degrees in medicine and surgery from the Government Medical College in Srinagar, India. Dr. Bhat is a diplomate in internal medicine with the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is board certified in internal medicine, oncology and hematology.
Recent research of interest to Dr. Bhat centers on Sickle Cell Disease, Modeling Tumor Volume with Hadron Irradiation, and Inhaled Nitric Oxide in Acute Pulmonary Embolism.
Dr. Bhat wishes to offer the highest quality of evidence based medical practice to her patients. She plays an active role in training Quillen Colleges medical students, residents, and fellows. She is dedicated to teaching our next generation of physicians.
