Club Name: BETA Club
Club Description: The BETA Club is an organization for 11-12 grade students. Beta recognizes outstanding achievement, promotes character and social responsibility, encourages service involvement to school and community, fosters leadership skills, and provides grants, and scholarships.
Meeting Schedule: 3rd Tuesday of each month.
Who can join/participate: Students in grades 11-12 who have a 3.5 average are invited to join

Officer Responsibilities:
President: 12th Grade Student
Responsible for:
Leading the Club Meetings.
Working with the Sponsors to create opportunities for BETA Members.
Working with the other Club Officers to engage club members in activities.
Be a role model for the Organization.
Reading through the BETA Website and Informing the other class officers of special
events and information.
Vice President: 12th Grade Student
Responsible for:
Assists the President with all assignments.
Take over the meeting if the president is ot able to be there.
Work with Club Sponsors on details of opportunities and activities
Be a role model for the Organization
Treasurer: 11th or 12th grade Student
Responsible for:
Be responsible for collection of any funds raised, Count and Document the amount with
sponsors.
Assist the Secretary with notices and information sent to members.
Secretary: 11th or 12th Grade Student
Responsible for:
Take written minutes of each meeting and post to members.
Take attendance and keep records of attendance
Send out notices of meetings and information to members and to Ms. Erwin to be placed
on the school website.
Beta club will be open to collect donations for "Operation Christmas Child" starting Nov 1 through Nov 18.
Please help us prepare shoe boxes filled with gifts for the underprivileged by donating the following ALLOWED items.
Allowed :
Dolls, stuffed toys, tooth brush, washcloth, pencils, papers, glue sticks, crayons, coloring books, water colors, winter gloves, shoes, caps, small toys and figures for ages 9-12 years old
Not Allowed:
Candy; toothpaste; gum; used or damaged items; scary or war-related items such as toy guns, knives, or military figures; chocolate or food; seeds; fruit rolls or other fruit snacks; drink mixes (powdered or liquid); liquids or lotions; medications or vitamins; breakable items such as snow globes or glass containers; aerosol cans
