Linda Garceau
Dr. Linda Garceau, C.P.A.
Dr. Linda Garceau, CPA, is dean of the College of Business and Technology at East Tennessee State University. The College, which enrolls over 2,500 students, encompasses programs in business, computer science, engineering technology, digital media, construction management, interior design, fashion and interior merchandising, and surveying. In addition to these typical programs, the Dean is also proud to include Military Science among the CBaT ranks…more affectionately known as “Garceau’s Army.”
Dr. Garceau holds masters degrees in accountancy and business administration, and a doctorate of business administration with a specialization in information systems from Boston University. She is a certified public accountant. She has published numerous articles in accounting, information systems and data security and is a professor of accountancy in the College.
Dr. Garceau serves on numerous civic and professional boards and committees, including Mountain States Health Alliance System Board, the board of the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence, the Library board of Johnson city, Junior Achievement of NE Tennessee, March of Dimes of NE Tennessee, Johnson City Rotary Club the Board of the Johnson City Country Club, and St. Mary’s Church Finance Committee.
Dr. Garceau and her husband, Al, have two children Devon and Drew, and three grandchildren.
