The Group Fitness program at Campus Recreation is designed and dedicated to promote healthy lifestyles in the ETSU community. Certified instructors provide a variety of fitness classes for all fitness levels. Group exercise classes are FREE for students, faculty, staff, and CPA members. Registration is recommended for all classes. Please plan to arrive to group fitness classes 5 - 10 minutes prior to the beginning of class.

Need to cancel your registration for a group fitness class?
- Visit the CPA Member Portal.
- Sign in by clicking "Sign In" and then the navy "ETSU Login" button.
- Click on your username in the upper right corner and select "Profile".
- Using the menu on the left, select "Program Registrations".
- Find the class you would like to cancel and click the 3 dots to the right.
- Lastly, select "Cancel Registration".

Group Fitness: FITGO
-
Fitness BINGO with a Twist! Attend various group fitness classes for a chance at winning a sweat towel, water bottle, or an ETSU duffel bag! This challenge begins on Monday, august 26 and ends Friday, December 6.
How to Play FITGO:
Grab a card from the Member Services Desk or a Group Fitness Instructor. At the end of each class, the instructor will award you with a stamp for that class. Once you obtain 3 FITGO, an instructor can help you redeem your prize. If you fill all spaces, please drop your card into the drop box at the Member Services Desk by Saturday, December 7. The drawing for an ETSU duffel bag will be held on Wednesday, December 11.
Prizes:
FITGO = A completed row, column, or diagonal.
3 FITGO = an ETSU Group Fitness water bottle or sweat towel (1 prize per person)
All spaces filled = a chance to win an ETSU duffel bag
All prizes are while supplies last. Limit 1 FITGO card per person. Limit 1 stamp per class.

Campus Rec 101

Women's Self-Defense Workshop

Join the Women & Gender Resource Center and Campus Recreation for a Women’s Self-Defense Workshop! While this workshop is not a full course, it will cover the education and intro to basic skills in women’s self-defense. The first hour of the workshop will be a traditional seminar, with the second hour consisting of physical instruction and practice of the skills discussed.

Small Group Training: Women on Weights

Are you looking to begin your fitness journey but feel intimidated by the gym? Our Women on Weights Small Group Training is designed to help female-identifying individuals become more comfortable using equipment and working out in the CPA. Our certified Personal Trainers will teach you how to use a variety of equipment and build an effective workout program during this 5-week course! Sessions are held twice a week for a total of 10 training sessions to help you say goodbye to gym-timidation. While this program is geared towards female-identifying individuals, all individuals, regardless of gender identity, are welcome to participate in this progressive training program.
