The CPA will be open from 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM on Friday, April 25, due to our Staff
Banquet.
The CPA Pool will close at 6:00 PM. The Outdoor Adventure Center and Climbing Wall
will be CLOSED. Group fitness classes will not be held after 1:00 PM.
Lot Closure Notice:
CPA Lot 38A will partially close at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 25, due to a special
event. All vehicles must be moved by 1:30 PM.
Pool Closure Notice:
Due to scheduled repairs, the CPA Pool will be closed for open swim on Tuesday, April
29, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Home to Campus Recreation, the Wayne G. Basler Center for Physical Activity (CPA) offers a variety of both indoor and outdoor facilities to ETSU students, faculty and staff. Find your recreational passion in one of our five diverse recreational programming areas: Aquatics, Fitness & Wellness, Intramural Sports, Sport Clubs, and Outdoor Adventure. Non-Credit Instruction is also offered by certified trainers, as well as facility times dedicated to self-directed recreational activities.
HalieAnn Rex Scholarship Fund
Help us establish the HalieAnn Rex Scholarship Fund in memory of an extraordinary young woman whose passion for the outdoors and leadership left a lasting impact. This scholarship will support Outdoor Adventure students who demonstrate exceptional leadership and a deep love for outdoor activities.
As the Graduate Assistant for Outdoor Adventure with ETSU Campus Recreation, HalieAnn
was dedicated to fostering a strong outdoor community. Before her passing, she had
begun creating a trail crew to maintain and enhance the campus trails—a project that
embodied her commitment to nature and service. This scholarship will carry forward
her vision, empowering students to grow through their own outdoor initiatives.
