Question: How did your education prepare you for the real world?
The curriculum and hands-on experience laid the foundation for a well-rounded career. My exposure to different aspects of health, engineering, science, and public interaction created the tools that employers look for, not only in the environmental field, but also in other aspects of career opportunities.
Question: What is something you wish you had known when you were a student?
Utilize your professors. Pick their brains on how their education and experience offered them opportunities. You may be surprised at what your degree can do for you.
