The Greater Knoxville Business Journal's "40 under 40" honors 40 individuals younger than 40 years of age who are leaving an imprint on the Knoxville area through their professional and philanthropic efforts. Honorees are profiled in the January Business Journal and are celebrated at the annual Book of Lists reception at the Knoxville Convention Center.
Ms. Gibson is currently a Health Education Specialist Project Manager for Oak Ridge Associated Universities. She is a 2006 graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a 2008 graduate of the Master of Public Health program at East Tennessee State University.
“Her background in public health and outreach experience that encompasses training, development and evaluation of programs, and facilitating collaborative partnerships is invaluable to our programs,” Nicole Scott, a National Institutes of Health program manager, wrote of Gibson in the article. “We benefit most by her ability to incorporate multicultural diversity and social justice concepts and principles into health promotion services.”
