Question: How did your education prepare you for the next step?
ETSU College of Public Health supported me by exploring the field of public health in every aspect of its domain and by preparing me with high-quality mentorship and education in public health. I also want to highlight Dr. Taylor Dula as my advisor and the person who was always helpful if I needed any support in my schedule and class registration as well as navigating the Degree Program and Dr. Jeanna Mikki Johnson who supported my growth always had time to meet with me to discuss the future and anything that could support me.
Question: What are some things you wish you had known as a student?
It is very important at the beginning of your education career to learn how to network and to always participate in all the program activities if possible as that will teach you about our field and build your confidence in furthering your career whether it is in continuing or education or in starting your career.
Question: Anything else you'd like to say?
I want to thank ETSU College of Public Health for giving me the chance to be one of its students and ETSU is peaking in the field of Public Health. Godspeed and Go Bucs!
