Under Tennessee law, the rulemaking process requires public hearings prior to the enactment of certain rules and regulations. Notice of rulemaking hearings will be posted to this website and the Secretary of State's website to give official notice of the time, date, and location of a hearing. The text of a proposed rule to be considered at the public hearing is also included below.
