Jordan holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from ETSU in 2010 and a master’s degree
in Counseling from ETSU in 2015. With a decade of experience in clinical mental health,
her work has primarily focused on supporting individuals with addiction and co-occurring
disorders.
Jordan has found fulfillment in transitioning from community mental health to working
with students at ETSU. In her practice, she personalizes treatment using a variety
of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and
Commitment Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, among others. She approaches her work with
authenticity, compassion, and a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate their
journeys toward self-acceptance, personal growth, and self-discovery.
Her professional passions lie in addressing issues including depression, anxiety,
substance use, sexuality, relationships, and many other unique challenges found throughout
college and adulthood.
Outside of her professional life, Jordan lives in Johnson City with her spouse and
their two young children. She enjoys expressing herself through music, gardening,
cooking, and cherishing time with her family, including her two cats, Bijou and Betty,
and her dog, Carl.
