Katelyn obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and master’s of business administration in Healthcare Administration from King University and her master’s of science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Milligan University. Over the past 5 years, she has worked providing a wide variety of services including inpatient psychiatric treatment, employee assistance program counseling, and the provision of counseling in both the community mental health and private practice setting. Using an integrated approach to therapy, Katelyn aims to help individuals draw on their own internal abilities to heal the wounded aspects of their lives and encourage personal growth and wellness. Her professional interests include aiding clients in navigating life transitions, mindfulness, neurodivergence, and EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Overall, Katelyn hopes to create an environment of safety, hope, and creativity for students to engage in authentic self-exploration and healing. Outside of her professional life, Katelyn enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, paddleboarding, swimming, reading, and binge-watching series with her spouse, Gabriel, and dog, Malla.
