Changemaker Scholars Program
The program provides opportunities for students of all majors and interests to gain a deeper understanding of social problems, collaborate with campus and community partners to find creative solutions to these problems, and integrate a changemaker mindset into their academic, personal, and professional lives. Quillen Honors Scholars Program
This program offers ETSU undergrads the opportunity to smoothly transition from undergraduate to medical school and, for five scholars, the oppourtunity to secure an automatic spot in the Quillen Collge of Medicine early in their undergraduate education. The selected students will complete both the undergraduate and medical school programs of study separately. Learn more here. -
Undergraduate Research Honors Scholars Program
The program offers opportunities to engage in discipline-specific curricula that culminate in a hands-on, mentor-guided, senior honors thesis project. Students are part of the larger Honors community and have opportunities to network with Honors peers, study abroad, participate in internships, engage in additional research, and/or travel to present their research at conferences. Office of Prestigious Awards
The office helps students find and apply for nationally competitive scholarships and fellowships. The office works with students at ETSU in all majors and degree programs and provides guidance on becoming a more competitive applicant for a broad range of opportunities. ETSU and the Office of Prestigious Awards supports students pursuing many awards, including but not limited to Rhodes Scholarships, Marshall Scholarships, Fulbright Awards, Critical Langauge Scholarship, and Gilman Scholarships, among others. Honors Student Engagement Scholarship
This scholarship is designed to support experiential learning and intellectual development opportunities for honors students in good standing by providing scholarship awards up to $1,500 to offset costs for: -Traveling to professional conferences to present academic findings -Conducting academic research or projects -Participating in an education abroad program -Collaborating with community patners on changemaking efforts -Working in an internship that closely related to a student's major and/or future profession -Engaging in activities to enhance competitiveness for nationally competitive scholarships
