Meet Dr. Campbell
Regenia Campbell, Ph.D.
Dr. Regina Campbell has served as assistant director of the Molecular Biology Core Facility since 2021. She provides scientific and technical support to investigators and trainees, assisting with experimental design, molecular assays, data analysis, troubleshooting, instrumentation and research planning.
Dr. Campbell earned her Ph.D. in biomedical science with a concentration in microbiology from East Tennessee State University and her bachelor's degree in cell and molecular biology from King University.
Her research and professional experience includes microbiology, molecular biology, host-microbe interactions, microbiome research and biomedical research. She also supports hands-on laboratory training and educational outreach for students, researchers and educators.
