For six weeks interior architecture students spent time studying design in Rome, Florence, Venice, and Vicenza Italy. The study abroad experience was branded “Resetting your normal” because students return changed as people and how they approach design in general. Classes included global sustainability, design, materials from Italy, architectural history, and a design studio course for a total of 13 credits. Students develop a website to document their daily journey through Italy. Daily blog posts and class assignments help them analyze those experiences and apply them to current design trends/topics.
