Drs. Michelle Freeman (Accountancy) and Kelly Atkins (Marketing) won the best paper award for paper, “Demystifying Team Creation” at the Atlantic Marketing Association Conference. The 48th annual Atlantic Marketing Association (AMA) Conference was held September 27-30, 2023 in Wilmington, North Carolina. This year's conference included nearly 70 papers, abstracts, and special sessions across 18 tracks. The conference provides opportunities for marketing academics and practitioners to come together, exchange ideas, develop collaborations, and recognize outstanding research. The conference spans a wide range of marketing sub-disciplines but areas like marketing education, consumer behavior, sustainability, sales, and technology/AI seem featured prominently in the sessions.
