The Department of Computing encourages undergraduates and graduates to undertake research, including independent studies and thesis work

The university supports undergraduate research in two ways:

• through independent studies, conducted under the supervision of individual members of the ETSU faculty
• through thesis projects, supported by ETSU's Honors College, with the assistance of ETSU's academic units

The Honors College's Honors In Discipline program provides thesis students with scholarships that cover the cost of full-time tuition.  For more information, please

 ETSU's School of Graduate and Continuing Studies offers various forms of help on all aspects of the crafting and preparation of graduate theses.  These include, but are not limited to, on-ground mini-courses, online videos, checklists, and templates for thesis preparation.
