Software
Apart from software in ETSU's campus-wide computing laboratories, the department's labs feature programming languages, integrated development environments (IDEs), and utilities for software and software project management.
Licensing arrangements allow ETSU students to download and install selected applications
on personal machines for academic use. This includes multiple science-, technology-,
engineering-, and math- (STEM-) related packages from Microsoft's Azure Dev tools and virtualization tools from VMWare's VMap.
Access to VMap for course use can be obtained by submitting a completed request form to the department's systems manager, Ms. Elizabeth Jennings.
For more information on other available packages, contact Ms. Jennings.
