FAQs for Culp Center Reservations

How long will it take for my reservation to be approved?
Culp Center reservation requests are looked at daily during normal business hours. (Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm)
If you submitted a reservation request after buisness hours your request will be reviewed once our office is open in the order it was received.

Do I have to pay for my reservation?
Student Organizations and Departments: all Culp Center spaces are free of charge. (unless your event incurs a no show, clean up, reset, or in some cases overtime fees: see Labor Service Fee Schedule)
Non-Affiliated groups and individuals: please reference the Facility Use Schedule located on our website under Policies, Fees, and Forms.

How do I cancel my reservation?
All reservations not cancelled properly will be subject to a $10 no show fee (non-affiliated will be subject to 20% - 30% of rental fee)
Please call 423-439-6633 or email studentcenter@etsu.edu to cancel your reservation.

What resources are offered for my reservation?
FREE Resources for Student Organizations & Departments:
- Chairs, tables, staging arranged as requested
- Use of sound reinforcement systems
- Use of special lighting systems
- Use of audio/visual equipment - decible (Db) sound for indoor is a maximum setting of 70 and outdoor is 90
- Access to local phone, campus video, and campus digital network services
- Full food catering services through Sodexo (charges apply)
- Support of the Technical Services staff if needed
- Public Safety support (charges apply)
- Physical Plant support if needed
- Information Technology support if needed
Non-Affiliated groups and indivduals: will be charged for the above resources. Please reference the Audio Visual Services & Equipment Fee Schedule and Labor Service Fee Schedule located on our Facility Use Fees page.

What are Set-Up & Break-Down Times?
Set-Up Time: if you require access to the space prior to the event start time. (ex: putting up decorations, getting materials ready, ensuring catering is set up properly, etc.)
Break-Down Time: if you need extra time after your event end time. (ex. to clean/reset room, to allow time for meeting attendees to gather their items to leave, if you had a catering order that had items that needed to be picked afterwards, etc.)

How do I request tables/chairs/trash bins for events located in Culp Center Outdoor spaces?
For ETSU Students & Faculty/Staff ONLY
You will need to submit a work order through ETSU Facilities.

How do Faculty/Staff Log into 25Live?
Faculty/Staff will utilize their ETSU credentials (do not enter “@etsu.edu” in your username).
