Starting in your first year at Gatton College of Pharmacy, learn to practice patient care as a member of an interprofessional health care team by working with students from the five college within ETSU’s Academic Health Sciences Center.
The university's new Interprofressional Education and Research (IPER) Center sits adjacent to Gatton College of Pharmacy and provides our students with additional classroom space, high fidelity simulation labs, and standardized patient experiences.
LEARN MORE ABOUT THE IPE EXPERIENCE
Commonly known as Building 60, the IPER Center is a federal building on the Mountain Home Veterans Affairs campus more than a century old and once served as the Quartermaster’s Storehouse and fire station. Striking a balance of historical character with modern features and technology, Building 60 has been repurposed as ETSU’s headquarters for interprofessional education.
