ETIX is the official online ticketing platform for the ETSU Martin Center. Tickets bought on the secondary market or third party websites may be invalid, more expensive, and/or ineligible for our assistance. The ETSU Martin Center is not able to honor, replace, or refund any invalid tickets.
Ticket Delivery Methods
- PRINT-AT-HOME & DIGITAL: Print-at-home tickets are emailed to the purchaser and can be printed on 8.5" x 11" paper and brought to the performance or pulled up on a smartphone to be scanned. Patrons with a smartphone that utilizes digital wallet technology can and should download their tickets into their smartphone when they receive their ticketing email. Print-at-home/Digital is the default method for ticket delivery unless otherwise specified.
OFFICE WALK-UP & WILL CALL: The box office is open 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. A photo ID must be presented by the ticket purchaser to pick up Will Call (pre-purchased) tickets. To make arrangements for someone other than the ticket purchaser to pick up tickets, please contact the Box Office in advance.
EVENT WALK-UP & WILL CALL: Any tickets purchased at least 24 hours in advance that have not been picked up prior to a performance will be available at the venue. The ticket purchaser must present a valid photo ID when picking up pre-purchased tickets at Will Call.
Safety Procedures
- The Martin Center Box Office accepts cash, check, and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover).
- All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable except in cases of canceled events.
- All programs, events, and performers are subject to change.
- Treat tickets as cash. They cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
- A photo ID is required to pick up tickets from the Box Office or at Will Call, or have tickets reprinted at a performance due to mobile device failure.
- All patrons and bags are subject to search.
- ETSU reserves the right to eject any patron for failing to adhere to venue policies including unlawful or unruly behavior.
- Pets or animals of any kind are not allowed, with the exception of Service Animals under the ADA.
- No re-entry permitted.
- ETSU is a tobacco-free campus. No smoking or vaping is allowed in the facility or anywhere on premises.
Ticket holders voluntarily assume all risk of property loss and personal injury or illness arising during or as a result of ticket use and event attendance.- Customers are not allowed to choose a seat location that strands a single seat. For example, if three seats remain in a row, you will not be able to select only two of them, thereby stranding a single seat. This maximizes seating capacity and limits the number of unsellable single tickets.

Where can I purchase tickets?
The ETSU Martin Center Box Office and ETSUMartinCenter.org are the only authorized sellers for Martin Center tickets, through ETIX, which is the official online ticketing platform for the ETSU Martin Center. Tickets bought on the secondary market or third party websites may be invalid, more expensive, and/or ineligible for our assistance. The ETSU Martin Center is not able to honor, replace, or refund any invalid tickets. -
If I purchase my tickets at the Box Office, do I still pay ticket fees?
There are no discounts for purchasing your tickets in person at our Box Office. Box Office sales and online sales both include the same fees and taxes for each ticket purchased.

What if I am not sure if I am purchasing tickets from the Martin Center?
If you are not sure, CALL US! When you purchase from the ETSU Martin Center, we guarantee you are getting the exact seats you choose at face value. Third-party vendors usually have increased prices, and not necessarily for better seats. If the tickets you are viewing do not have exact seat locations or the pricing seems suspicious, please call our Box Office at (423) 439-2787 before adding to your cart. -
How and when are my tickets shipped?
All tickets are set by default to email to patrons for either print-at-home or digital ticket utilization. Patrons without a smartphone compatible with digital tickets or those without a printer may select Will Call pickup at the Martin Center Box Office before or at the event. -
How do I access my digital or print-at-home tickets?
You will receive instructions on how to print your tickets in your purchase confirmation email or save them to your smartphone. -
Do children need tickets?
For the majority of events, children under 2 will not require a ticket if they are sitting in someone's lap and not occupying another seat. This will vary by event, however, particularly children's shows, so check individual event pages for details. -
Am I able to get a refund for my ticket?
No. All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable except in cases of canceled events. Please note: Due to the nature of live entertainment, dates, times, performers, and prices are subject to change. -
Do you offer group ticket sales?
Group ticket sales will vary by performance. Typically, a minimum purchase of 10 tickets is required. For group ticket sales, please contact our Box Office at (423) 439-2787 Monday-Friday, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, or by email Tickets@ETSUMartinCenter.org.

When do doors open?
This will vary by performance, but doors will typically open 1 hour prior to event time. See event pages for specific information. -
Where is Lost and Found?
Items given to ushers or found by custodial staff are turned into Lost and Found at the Guest Services window in the lobby. -
Who do I contact for accommodations and/or assistance?

Do you have an elevator?
Yes, the Balcony and Upper Parterre are accessible via an elevator in the Tindall Lobby. -
Are there stairs in the venue?
Yes. Stairs are required to access Mezzanine seats and some Balcony seats. An elevator is available for Balcony access. If you are concerned about accessing your seats, please contact our Box Office at (423) 439-2787 Monday-Friday, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm or by email at Tickets@ETSUMartinCenter.org. -
Are cameras allowed?
Videography and flash photography are not allowed at the Martin Center. Any recording equipment (including iPads) and professional recording devices are subject to confiscation except those in use by credentialed media or personnel approved by facility/artist management staff. Some performers may allow recording of select songs or portions of the show via your cellphone. Check the event page for details or ask an usher prior to the event if recording is allowed. -
Do you have a designated smoking area?
No. ETSU is a tobacco-free campus. There is no smoking, vaping, or any use of tobacco products allowed either inside or outside of the facility. -
Do you allow event re-entry?
No. There is no re-entry allowed at the Martin Center. Once tickets are scanned, patrons must remain inside the facility for the event. -
Do you have concessions?
This will vary by performance. Concessions will be available from Sodexo at select events. -
Is there a dress code?
There is no specific dress code for the Martin Center, so wear whatever you’re comfortable wearing for a night out. -
What if I arrive late to a performance?
Some events require late-arriving patrons to enter the venue only at certain intervals once the performance has begun. Please check with the ushers when you arrive at the Martin Center to see if there is a late-seating restriction for the performance. -
What are the seat specifications?
- Seats in the Grand Hall range from 19" to 23" wide. The majority of seats in the Orchestra and Mezzanine sections will be 20" to 22" wide, while the majority of seats in the Balcony are 21".
- Seats in the Recital Hall range from 20" to 23", with the vast majority of seats either 21" or 22".
- Seating in the Bach Theatre are all padded folding chairs, with exact seating layouts varying for each individual performance.

Where do I park?
Parking is available on levels 3 and above of the Brinkley Center Parking Garage (formerly Millennium Center Parking Garage) behind the Carnegie Hotel (located at 2004 Millennium Place, Johnson City, TN 37604), or in the ETSU Parking Garage on campus. The walkway from the Brinkley Center Parking Garage (formerly Millennium Center Parking Garage) is covered. There is ADA-accessible parking adjacent to the Martin Center in Lot 55, accessible via Harris Drive W; as well as on each floor of the Brinkley Center Parking Garage (formerly Millennium Center Parking Garage). Please do not park in nearby business parking lots. Those are privately owned areas that may be subject to towing.

What is Rush Seating?
Rush Seating is only available for free and open to the public ticketed events. Anyone interested in Rush Seating should line up in the designated queue located at the front of the Martin Center, facing State of Franklin when doors open for the event. Beginning at a predetermined time by the Martin Center, any empty seats will be given to patrons waiting in the Rush Seating queue.
The Martin Center cannot guarantee all patrons waiting in the Rush Seating queue will be seated for the event. Rush Seating is first come, first served.

What are your current COVID-19 Policies?
In accordance with current campus-wide policies, we are currently operating at full capacity and do not require proof of mask or vaccination for attendance.
