Quillen College of Medicine Matriculation Requirements
- Students in this program are expected to remain in good academic and disciplinary standing.
All students must complete and submit an application through the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) between June 1st and August 1st of the year prior to which admission is sought—generally the summer following the third year of their undergraduate program.- On official notification of acceptance the student will be expected to pay the current class reservation fee required of all accepted applicants at the time. This fee will be credited toward their first semester’s tuition on enrollment or may be refundable under policies current at the time.
- Once the reservation fee received at Quillen, they will be added to the list of expected matriculants for the coming year and will be subject to all matriculation requirements for the college including a background check, health/immunization/insurance requirements and all others which may be in place for the incoming class.
- Students accepted through this program will be expected to participate in and complete the AAMC Chose Your Medical School (CYMS) directives or other similar program required of all accepted applicants, fully committing to Quillen at the appropriate and earliest possible time. Notification will come to the students through Quillen and/or AMCAS.
- Students accepted through this program will be expected to uphold all moral, ethical and legal standards and financial obligations expected of all entering students as assessed and determined by Quillen staff.
The above may be subject to change as matriculation requirements and expectations may change for enrolling students in the future. Accepted students will be advised of matriculation requirements on payment of the reservation fee or otherwise as all other accepted applicants.
