Gift Annuity Plus Program
Did you know you can now receive a lifetime income while benefiting medical students and faculty through the ETSU Foundation?
The ETSU Foundation has established the Gift Annuity Plus (GAP) program that will provide immediate benefits to both you and the James H. Quillen College of Medicine. Charitable Gift annuities can supply you with regular income payments (a portion may be tax-free) and significant tax deductions, while providing current support for students and faculty in the College of Medicine. Unlike many annuity programs that are created to provide a future gift after the death of the donor, the GAP will enable you to see your gift in action during your lifetime.
Sources of gifts to fund a GAP charitable gift annuity include stocks and mutual funds, bank certificates of deposit, and life insurance policies. The fixed interest rate is determined at the time of the gift, remains unchanged for life, and is dependent on your age.
The program has been established in conjunction with The Benefits Group, a firm based in Knoxville, TN, with over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.
If you or your financial advisor would like to explore this new opportunity, please contact the Office of University Advancement at (423) 439-4242 or email Sunny Sandos, Executive Director of Planned Giving or Carol P. Sloan, Director of Development at Quillen College of Medicine Office of Institutional Advancement at sloanc@etsu.edu.
