View 2024-2025 Fellowship Positions
Postdoctoral Fellows in the Institute for Integrated Behavioral Health will develop the clinical, team-based, and leadership skills necessary to enter the workforce of integrated health psychology including positions of leadership and program development. Fellows will work in fully integrated healthcare teams across the spectrum of primary care including family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics/gynecology. Fellows will participate in quality improvement projects and vertical supervision of graduate students in psychology, social work, counseling, and nurse practitioner programs. They will also have opportunities for teaching residents and medical students in the management of behavioral health problems commonly presenting in primary care.
We are eager to tailor a training program to meet your needs. Some fellows want a deeper grounding in the leadership of integrated care for a future clinical/leadership role. Some fellows have a strong background in integrated care and want advanced leadership, research, policy and advocacy skills for a future development role, a career in traditional academia, or work at the policy role. Still others have interest in developing a well-honed skill set in specific areas such as assessment, pain management, health psychology, or integrating behavioral health into sub-specialty care. Whatever you need to launch your ideal career, we are here to work with you!
The Institute for Integrated Behavioral Health is especially interested in recruiting fellows with an interest in starting their careers in Northeast Tennessee. We are very current on potential interest and need for behavioral health providers and leaders in our region and will work closely with you from your first day of the fellowship to help match you with a permanent position in this beautiful part of the country.
For the academic years 2021-2025, the ETSU Institute for Integrated Behavioral Health
has funding from the HRSA Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training program
to fund fellows with a stipend of $47,844 plus benefits and professional development
opportunities.
