Admissions
1. Obtain Graduate Admissions and Applications Materials forms in any of the following ways:
- In person from Graduate School (309-B Burgin-Dossett Hall)
- Online in printable pdf format via Graduate School
- Online application (to be submitted online) via Graduate School - see above provided link (Apply Now)!
2. Obtain one official transcript from any college or university where the you have taken courses, except for previous course work at ETSU.
3. Meet the admission requirements of the Graduate School, found at: https://www.etsu.edu/gradschool/application-instructions.php#General_Admissions_Requirements
4. Meet the admission requirements of the School Librarianship Program, which are: Applicants need to possess a minimum overall undergraduate or graduate level GPA of 2.75 from a completed baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate degree program or a GPA of 3.0 in the most recent sixty credit hours earned for a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution
4. Compose a personal statement of 300-500 words, detailing your interests in the graduate program at ETSU. This statement will be submitted upon the application itself.
5. Submit to Graduate School:
- Completed Graduate School Application
- Official transcripts from all universities/colleges where you have taken courses (excluding ETSU)
- Personal essay
- $65 application fee
