THE COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES
Thank you for visiting the College of Health Sciences, which is one of five health colleges within the ETSU Academic Health Sciences Center. The College is home to a large, diverse portfolio of academic programs and clinical services. This includes 21 academic programs in the Departments of Allied Health Sciences, Counseling & Human Services, Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology, Nutrition and Integrated Health Sciences, Rehabilitation, Social Work, and Exercise Science, as well as the Center of Excellence for Sport Science and Coach Education. As part of ETSU Health, the College operates four clinics including the Community Counseling Clinic, Dental Hygiene Clinic, BucSports Physical Therapy, and The Nave Center, which is an interdisciplinary outpatient rehabilitation center.
The following are a few quick facts about the College:
- Twenty-one (21) degree programs providing academic preparation and training that leads to licensure for 14 health care professions.
- A variety of certificates and minors including trauma and resilience, nature based therapy, child welfare, sport nutrition, addiction counseling, pediatric feeding disorders, and more.
- Nearly 100% of all students in the College participate in ETSU’s Interprofessional Experiences. Not only do we teach students, we give them the space to learn and train in health care teams. ETSU’s Interprofessional Research and Education Center, Bishop Hall, brings together students from across the health sciences disciplines to train in state-of-the-art simulation labs and learning spaces.
- Four clinics providing multiple specialty services in Audiology, Counseling, Dental Hygiene, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Social Work, and Speech-language Pathology.
