Internship Opportunities
The Media and Communication Department is dedicated to providing our students with
not just the knowledge they need to succeed but also the practical skills that only
hands-on experience can provide. Our students don't just learn by observing; they
strengthen thier skills through action.
A 3-credit internship is strongly recommneded for students atriculating through out program. All our internships are supervised, structured learning experiences in professional settings that allow students to gain valuable work experience while also building their resumes and growing their professional network.
Our internship mentor will encourage students to seek opportunities that speak to their strenghts, and fits thier schedule, their abilities, and their future goals.
Internships require a minimum of 125 hours (typically, at least 10 hours per week during the fall and spring and either part-time or full-time during the summer).
