Zoe Cameron
Graduate AssistantZoe Cameron is a Masters Candidate in the English program. She is the full time GA for the WGSS department and the current GA advisor for Tri-Iota, the National Women's Studies Honor Society. Her interests are in Mythology and Fairytales, Women Authors, and Weird fiction.

Holly Hower
Gaduate AssistantHolly is a student in the English MA program. She previously graduated from ETSU with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Creative Writing. She is currently working in the WGSS department as an Administrative Graduate Assistant, and the Literature and Langauage Department as a Graduate Assistant, where she uses her creative skills in various projects.

Rebecca Lyne Tolley
Rebecca Tolley teaches in the Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies program and serves on the WGSS Steering Committee at ETSU. She holds a B.S. in Studio Arts with the first Women’s Studies minor awarded at ETSU, an M.A. in American History (also from ETSU), and an M.L.I.S. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her work bridges librarianship, feminist pedagogy, and the arts: she is a professor and librarian at Sherrod Library, where she directs Research & Instruction Services and curates exhibitions in the library galleries.

Mickey White
Dr. Mickey White (he/they), NCC, BC-TMH, is an Associate Professor of Counseling at East Tennessee State University. His scholarship and advocacy centers the experiences of transgender, non-binary, and gender expansive (TNBGE) individuals, with special emphasis on self-disclosure and access to care. He has held leadership positions in multiple professional counseling organizations, presents and publishes on integrating affirming practices for LGBTQIAP2S+ populations in clinical and educational setting, and served as co-chair for the revisions team for SAIGE’s Guidelines for Counseling TNBGE Populations.

Josie Lyn Gilbertson, MA
Mrs. Josie Gilbertson serves as the primary advisor for undergraduate students majoring in Criminal Justice & Criminology. She is also the advisor for students pursuing the minor in Forensic Science. She received her B.S. and M.A. in Criminal Justice & Criminology from East Tennessee State University. She has previously worked in a juvenile correctional facility focusing on matters such as program evaluation, safety procedures, reintegration into the community, and staff training. Also, with a background in social justice education and community engagement, Mrs. Gilbertson enjoys teaching Gender and Violence for the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program. Mrs. Gilbertson aims to empower individuals and foster more equitable communities. Her approach is rooted in empathy, education, and a deep commitment to intersectional feminism.
