Overview
The ASRL's goal is to help our clients collect high-quality data to meet their evaluation/survey needs. We do this through telephone, web, mail, or in-person surveys; face-to-face interviews; focus groups; and participant recruitment.
Over the past several years, we have worked with various non-profit and community organizations. Some of our clients include: the Johnson City Police Department, the ETSU College of Public Health, ETSU Physicians, and the ETSU Annual Phone-a-thon fundraising effort. We also have extensive experience doing data collection in the Appalachian Region and working with hard-to-reach populations.
Our partnership with the Department of Sociology and Anthropology benefits those interested in working with ASRL because, while the expertise and services offered by the ASRL are not free, contract fees for services are low in part because of our mission to provide training and research experience to both undergraduate and graduate students at ETSU.
