The ETSU Philosophy Club exists to provide a forum for the open discussion of ideas among peers interested in philosophical thought. Our goal is to increase the quality of the educational experience for students of philosophy at ETSU, and to act as a bridge for communication between and among philosophy students, faculty, and guest lecturers.
Some of our regular events include movie screenings, discussion groups, and Philosophy Coffees. At our Philosophy Coffees, we invite a faculty member or guest lecturer to give a short presentation on a field of their expertise, which is then followed up by Q&A and an open discussion.
We exist for those students studying philosophy and for the ETSU student population
in general. Our goal is for the club to continue to grow and evolve. If you have any
ideas you would like to see implemented please get in touch with us.
