The French minor offers a comprehensive study of French language, literature, and culture. Please refer to the undergraduate catalog for specific degree requirements and your degree progress in DegreeWorks; the current minor requirements are listed below.
French Minor Pre-requirements
FREN 1010 - Beginning French I (3 credits) *
FREN 1020 - Beginning French II (3 credits) *
*Based on placement test or equivalent.
French Minor Requirements: 21 credits
At least 9 credits must be at the 3000-level or above.

FREN 4900 - Independent Study in French (1-3 credits)
