Dr. Cummings Onks has been at ETSU for over 25 years advising and teaching. She is currently the Director of the University Advisement Center and Director of the Learning Support Program.
Working with students and in the energy of a college campus is the reason she chose this career path. It is her privilege to be a part of the student’s life planning journey and watch them make that dream a reality.
She adjunct teaches with the Clemmer College as well as in Cross Disciplinary Studies. In her free time she enjoys writing, naturalist studies, volunteering with community engagement organizations, any activity that involves her family and friends, and exploring the state and national parks. Live music and plays along as well as travel with her family and friends rates high on her list of favorite things to do!
