Timeliness in the student being able to access financial aid or private loans is taken into consideration. The Dean of Students Office, in coordination with the CARE Team, reviews and approves requests. Students may apply for assistance from the BSCF no more than once per term. The maximum award granted is $500. Students who are at or above their "cost of attendance" for ETSU cannot receive any additional aid, including a BSCF award.
Students are encouraged to consider all resources and support available to them at ETSU, including Bucky's food pantry, the Career Closet, services provided by the University Health Center, and to apply for jobs available on campus either through ETSU or Sodexo.
Review and Processing for the BSCF:
University staff will review applications on a regular and ongoing basis. A member of the the Dean of Students office team will communicate with you if there are concerns or if additional information is needed.
