Health Insurance
ETSU does not provide health insurance for graduate students.
Domestic Students
Information about available options for personal coverage, including options under the Affordable Care Act, is available at: https://www.etsu.edu/nursing/universityhealth/insurance.php
International Students
International students must enroll in an improved health insurance plan. Information is available at https://www.etsu.edu/nursing/universityhealth/insurance.php and https://coverage2u.com/
If you plan to arrive in the U.S. before the effective date of your plan, you should buy short additional short term medical coverage.
If international students obtain a TA/RA/SA position that provides GAIP coverage, they may initially be charged for ISHIP but can request to be reimbursed by the ISHIP office (Links to an external site.).
The costs associated with attending ETSU can include both direct and indirect costs. Please review ETSU's Cost of Attendance for more details.
