Bucs Empowering Scholars for Tomorrow, a component of the Multicultural Center Student Access and Success support services, provides a transformative and holistic network of academic support services and programs on campus. All of our programs and initiatives are free and empower students to be self-directed, engaged, lifelong learners and leaders within a diverse and inclusive campus.

Qualifications
- Incoming first-year or returning students at ETSU
- Desire to excel working with either an upper-class student or faculty/staff Mentor
- Meet face-to-face or via phone or text with Peer Mentee twice per month, text and email per week
- Attend meetings with the Mentoring Coordinator
- Attend all important evets below
Important Dates
Fall 2024
- Complete the Form by August 4th.
- Quest for Success Leaders and BEST Mentors Orientation: Sunday, August 18, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at MCC
- Quest for Success check-in and move-in: Monday, August 19 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Quest for Success and BEST Mentees Orientation: Wednesday, August 21, 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm at MCC
- BEST Mentees and Mentors Meeting at Preview: Wednesday, August 21 at 3:00 pm at the Brooks Gym Quad.
- Attend Equity and Inclusion Conference: Student Track: Thursday and Friday, September 26 & 27
- All Mentors and Mentees Mid-semster Meeting, Monday to Friday, September 30 to October 11
- Attend MCC Student Leadership Seminars every Wednesday
- Attend MCC and other campus events
Spring 2025
- Complete the Form by August 4th.
- New Mentees and Mentors Orientation: Sunday, January 19, 1:00 to 3:00 pm
- Meet with your Mentee and Peer/Faculty or Staff or Alumni Mentors
- All BEST Mentors and Mentees Mid-semester Meeting, Monday to Friday, February 17 to February 28
- Attend MCC Leadership through Academic Seminars every Wednesday
- Attend MCC and other campus events
