The Mary V. Jordan Multicultural Center Diversity Scholars Society honors students who come from across the country and globe with diverse identities, unique experiences and transformative challenges. The students strive for excellence and memorable university experiences where they can achieve academic excellence, civic engagements, servant leadership, and their humanness.
Since their first day on campus, these elite diverse undergraduate students actively engaged the campus through multicultural programs and student organizations, in the classroom, research and community services. Recognizing the diversity within the community and affirming the educational values and opportunities of an inclusive liberal arts education, the Mary V. Jordan Multicultural Center Diversity Scholars Society honors these distinct students during the Multicultural Graduation Celebration.
