Brief Bio:

Hi! I'm originally from Florida but grew up in Western NC. I've always had an interest in medicine but my passion was solidified after my mother in law was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was fortunate enough to shadow her oncologist and it was such an impactful experience that I knew I wanted to be a doctor. As I rotated through various specialities it was clear that surgery was my favorite. I loved taking care of the injured patient. My passion for this only grew and thus I became a trauma surgeon. In my spare time I like to spend time with my husband John and our pups, Chewie and Han. We love the hiking opportunities in East TN.
