Trey Hatcher serves as an adjunct instructor in the Sport & Recreation Management program at ETSU. Outside of his teaching role, he is the Senior Manager of Event Operations for Bristol Motor Speedway & Dragway, where he primarily oversees Dragway operations and manages special projects.
Trey teaches SALM 4101: Financial Strategies in Sport, bringing more than 10 years of professional experience in large-scale event management into the classroom. His career includes work on some of the largest sporting events in the country, including Battle at Bristol, NASCAR races (both in Bristol and other tracks), and the MLB Speedway Classic.
Outside of work, Trey enjoys watching sports - particularly college football, basketball, and baseball - along with traveling and spending time with family. His favorite part of teaching with the SARM Department is meeting students, learning about their interests, and helping them build connections while growing both personally and professionally.
