University Governance

The Governance Organizations noted here are those that function at the University level and whose responsibilities and recommendations impact the entire Campus Community.

This site is not intended to be an exhaustive listing of all committees currently operating at East Tennessee State University.

General Guidelines

In general, each body in the governance stucture is expected to:

• Meet a minimum of once per semester, unless specified by the charge
• review its charge and membership annually, and 
• make recommendations for appropriate changes.

Governance organizations, unless otherwise specified, will be referred to as "committees."
