On Monday, January 19, and Saturday, January 24, ETSU will honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through the Martin Luther King, Jr. Days of Service.
Dr. King lived a life of service and called us to build the Beloved Community - neighbors working together to create a more just and compassionate society. Following his example, ETSU students, faculty, and staff are invited to join millions of Americans in a “day on, not a day off,” serving alongside local nonprofit organizations and community partners.
Volunteer ETSU and the Office of Leadership and Civic Engagement will coordinate service placements throughout the community. Volunteers are asked to commit to serving from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on one or both days. Additional details will be shared after registration.
Learn more and register here. Service placements are limited – register early.
