Dan VanZant


Instructional Design & Technology Manager

Dan has been working in Higher Ed IT and instructional support since 2010.  Dan holds an M.S. in Technology from ETSU ('16) as well as a graduate certificate in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of Memphis ('21), a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from Penn State's World Campus, and a B.A. in Anthropology from Southern Illinois University ('03). Dan joined the Gatton College of Pharmacy team in 2018.  Before joining the Pharmacy team, Dan worked on ETSU's main campus as an Electronic Content Developer with the IT Academic Technology Support team building out and managing ETSU's web presence, helping faculty and staff develop online resources and learning material, and training faculty and staff on online tools in order to help make their lives easier and to assure that our students get the best experience possible in the classroom.
