The Archival Studies graduate certificate is designed for working adults who need or want archival training. Students gain skills to work in archives, libraries, museums, historical societies, government agencies, and other organizations involved in the management and preservation of cultural heritage materials. Engage with diverse communities and stakeholders and promote the value of archives. Study the lifecycle of records, from creation to disposal, and learn best practices for managing records within organizations and institutions.

Students who have completed the Archival Studies graduate certificate may have up to 18 of the certificate credits applied toward the Interdisciplinary Studies, MALS degree (Archival Studies Concentration).
