ETSU Promise Plus Scholars
The costs associated with attending ETSU can include both direct and indirect costs. Please review ETSU's Cost of Attendance for more details.
ETSU Promise Plus Scholars are first-time, full-time freshmen eligible for the Tennessee Education Lottery (HOPE) Scholarship and the maximum Pell Grant. If any tuition and program-service-fee costs are left after these funds have been applied, ETSU pays them for Promise Plus Scholars.
- By maintaining your eligibility, you’ll never have to pay tuition or program service fees during the four years of your Promise Plus Scholars Program, even if they go up.
- If you live on campus, you’ll also receive a $1,500 housing scholarship annually for four years.
Promise Plus Scholars are committed to getting the most out of their ETSU education, so they complete a first-year experience course, attend academic coaching in their freshman year, and participate in career development activities throughout their time at ETSU. By succeeding at ETSU, Promise Plus Scholars pave the way to a better life for themselves, their families and their communities.
