What is ETSU Elevates?

Launched in 2019, the ETSU Elevates program offers students support in identifying an economic, social, or environmental issue area of their choice and coordinating with a community-based partner (agency, organization, or client) in the region to conceptualize, design, and implement a service-focused solution to their unique topic. Engaging with community experts, students explore the root causes of their identified issue area while developing practical and scalable solutions through workshop training sessions and personal coaching.

Upon completion of the ETSU Elevates program, the students and community partners share their ideas publicly at the ETSU Elevates Pitch Competition to secure funds to scale and implement their proposed projects in the region. In 2023, ETSU Elevates invested a total of $25,000 to address community needs in our region and beyond!
