ETSU programs ranked among nation’s best
Intelligent.com, a resource for program rankings and educational planning, has ranked
multiple programs at East Tennessee State University among the best in the nation.
East Tennessee State University’s commitment to providing students with an affordable, high-quality education has earned many programs an elite ranking from Intelligent.com, a longtime resource for higher education rankings and educational planning.
Intelligent.com evaluates programs across a broad range of criteria, including academic quality, graduation rates, cost and return on investment and student resources.
“These rankings highlight our commitment to providing students with an affordable, high-quality education,” said Dr. Kimberly D. McCorkle, ETSU’s provost and senior vice president for Academic Affairs. “I am especially proud of the wide range of programs recognized, including a number of impactful health sciences programs.”
Among the programs recognized were:
- Top online master’s degree in digital marketing, ranked 6th.
- Best master’s degree in human services (Individual Family and Community Sciences), ranked 7th.
- Best online master’s degree in human services (Individual Family and Community Sciences), ranked 9th.
- Best online respiratory therapy program, ranked 12th.
- Best online Master of Science in Nursing-nurse practitioner, ranked 13th.
ETSU’s online human services degree program (15th), online master’s degree in coaching (15th), master’s in social work (18th) and supply chain management degree program (33rd) also ranked highly. Intelligent.com also ranked the university’s online master’s in public health as the 12th most affordable in the country.
Across a range of programs, ETSU aims to help students shift seamlessly from enrolled to employed – with nearly half of students graduating with no debt, placing them in a position to excel after college.
Beyond academics, ETSU has also earned prestigious rankings in the areas of student life, finances and more, including being named the 2024 Top Adventure College by readers of Blue Ridge Outdoors magazine.
ETSU also recently earned the “Great College to Work For®” recognition for specific best practices and policies by the Great Colleges to Work For® program. Earlier this year, ETSU was also listed on Forbes magazine’s list of America’s Best Employers for Women and one of America’s Best-in-State Employers.
