Heather Eisenhart is a native of Miami, Florida who found herself in a long-term relationship with Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee after “temporarily” relocating here for work nearly 17 years ago. Heather holds a B.F.A. in Theatre Performance from New World School of the Arts and a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from East Tennessee State University.
Since 2018, she has worked as an adjunct instructor for ETSU’s Division of Cross-Disciplinary Studies, teaching a variety of courses including CDST 3000: Workforce Skills, a course she had the pleasure of designing for inclusion in ETSU’s Bachelor of Applied Science programs. She currently holds a full-time position at the University of Virginia’s College at Wise as the Media Services Associate where she is responsible for assisting in the facilitation of events across the campus, such as meetings, research symposiums, guest lectures, concerts, live streams, and ceremonies.
Heather’s extracurricular activities include finding theaters to play in from time to time, geeking out on new lighting, sound, and video technology, and spending time with her sweet little family and her pups.
