Overview
Nutrition professionals work in a variety of settings where they apply scientific knowledge and skills to provide effective nutritional advice to clients in healthcare, athletic, and community settings. Nutritionists provide nutrition education, counseling, and health coaching to patients and clients in outpatient settings. The nutrition minor is designed to complement a variety of health-related fields, including rehabilitative sciences, speech-language pathology, exercise science and kinesiology, and allied health. Upon completion of the nutrition minor, students will have the skills to effectively communicate nutrition information to a variety of clients.
