Brief Biography:

Dr. Wei Fu has lived in Johnson City since 2007. She earned her M.S. in Accounting from East Tennessee State University in 2008 and completed her Ph.D. in Retail, Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2016, with a concentration in Retail and Consumer Sciences and a minor in Statistics.

Dr. Fu teaches a variety of marketing courses, including Consumer Behavior, Digital Marketing, Retail Management, and Marketing Research. Her research examines consumer decision-making, information processing, and the influence of emerging technologies on marketing and the food industry. Recent projects explore consumer acceptance of cultivated meat and digital transformation in retail.

Outside of academia, she enjoys watching movies, cooking, and traveling.
