This event has been cancelled. Join the ETSU High School Honor Band and... "Pretty Woman: The Musical," based on one of Hollywood’s most beloved romantic stories of all... The Bert C. Bach Fine and Performing Arts Scholars Program is designed to support
an interdisciplinary group of student artists who will share the experience of learning
about the arts together. Students accepted into the program are pushing the boundaries, defining and constructing
new works, learning what is needed survive as a professional, and pursuing their own
major creative works and projects.This scholarship awards up to $5,000 per year to
both in-state and out-of-state students. The Creative Arts Scholarship program represents ETSU's commitment to recruit talented
students whose public participation enriches our campus and our community. This program is for first-time, out-of-state graduate and undergraduate students,
including international and transfer students. Students awarded with this creative
arts scholarship will receive in-state tuition as an out-of-state student. Award amounts
vary. The Mary B. Martin School of the Arts at ETSU brings together art and academics to

Our Benefactors
Mary B. Martin, a lifelong resident of Johnson City and ETSU alumna, had a passion for both science and the arts.
Along with her husband, Jim Martin, a renowned chemist and patron of the arts, she helped create a lasting legacy in the region.
Together, they supported numerous arts initiatives, with Jim establishing the Mary B. Martin School of the Arts in her memory after her passing in 2008.
