"I was born and raised in Korea, where I earned my B.S. with Honors in Plant Science from Seoul National University. I later moved to the United States and completed my M.S. and Ph.D. in Horticultural Sciences at the University of Florida. During my graduate years, I took advanced coursework and engaged in diverse research projects that strengthened my skills in laboratory techniques, data analysis, and scientific collaboration. These experiences not only deepened my understanding of plant science but also inspired my passion for teaching—sharing the excitement of scientific discovery and helping students connect classroom learning to the world around them."
